Adelaide Event – Raising the Bar
Tuesday August 13th from 6.30pm
What is Raising the Bar?
Raising the Bar is a worldwide initiative aimed at making education a part of a city’s popular culture. The movement creates one of a kind, knowledge driven events in unusual locations. The goal of this event is to raise the bar on the content people consume in their everyday lives.
The topics we’ll be discussing at The Colonist this year include:
- Can your protein choices really save the planet and do we all need to be vegan?
- Sleep: the third pillar of health.
While listening to our guest speakers, grab something light to eat from our menu or a drink from our extensive range of local and boutique drink offerings. Our foraging plates are the perfect snack choice, choose 1 plate for $14, 2 for $26 or 3 for $36. In addition, check out our real-time tap list to see what we currently have tapped.
Furthermore, join us on Tuesday August the 13th where Professor Andrew Lowe and Mr Robert Adams discuss their chosen topics in depth. Raising the Bar is a unique Adelaide Event where you can sit back, grab a bite to eat and drink and fill your brain with knowledge.
Come along to this Adelaide event for a drink, meal and Raising the Bar on the content you consume in that week:
- Happy Hour 5-6pm | includes $1 off all glasses of wine*, $5 off all bottles of wine*, $1.50 off tap beer/cider
*excludes house wine
- Dinner available from 5.30pm – view the menu
